Fourth Glee Club to open in Nottingham |
| Comic Enterprises, the operator of the Glee Club chain of comedy and music venues, has secured a lease on a venue in Nottingham.
The 16,000sq ft site, a former Bar Risa/Jongleurs venue located on the city’s Waterfront Development, will be rebranded and opened as a Glee Club in September.
It will become the fourth Glee Club in the UK, following sites in Birmingham, Cardiff and Oxford.
Leisure property specialist Christie + Co brokered the deal and is currently acting on behalf of administrators BDO to market the leasehold interests of a number of ex-Regent Inns sites – including the company’s former Jongleurs venues.
Mark Tughan, founder and owner of Comic Enterprises, said: "Appropriate sites for Glee Clubs are rare and we are delighted to have secured this space in a canal side location, which suits our destination-venue positioning."
